Blizzard Evelyn may have delayed our official kick-off, but it hasn't slowed down the Waldschmidt for Sheriff campaign one bit. We are off to an incredible start, and we can't thank all of you enough. The rescheduled date was a beautiful spring day, and we had a fantastic turn out! It was great catching up with family, friends, and co-workers while also meeting new people that stopped in to meet Ryan and show their support. 450 Wings, 20 Pizzas, Fruit, Veggies and Cake kept the party going for several hours! Special thanks to Schmitty's Oar House who was great to work with in quickly rescheduling the party and Festival Foods who made us a new cake.
Click on the pictures to make them full size, and check out Ryan's speech below . . heads up it's 10 minutes long!

WOW! What a great day! After opening the Annual State Eagle's Club conference, I headed to Auburn Bluff's Golf Course for the campaign golf outing fundraiser! What a beautiful day and a great turn-out. Thank you to all those who organized the event, and made it such a huge success.
After the golf outing, we headed up to Marytown for their annual fish boil, and ran into a bunch of "Waldschmidt for Sheriff" supporters in their shirts.
On Saturday, I ran over to support the Brandon - Fairwater Fire Department at their brat fry and then ended the day at Celebrate Oakfield. Enjoyed speaking with residents about my campaign!

The day started a little cold and breezy, but we had a great time getting out and talking with residents!
Thank you to my supporters who wore their "Waldschmidt for Sheriff" shirts to help spread the word!!
Special shout-out and "Congratulations" to my cousin Molly Jaster, who along with Holly Luehring, were co-chairs for the 40th anniversary of Walleye Weekend. Thanks for all your hard work!!

We had a busy weekend installing more large yard signs around the county. Thank you to all the landowners who have graciously allowed us to install large 4'x8' signs on their property.
For dinner we were happy to support the Lamartine Fire Department at their annual Steak Fry. It was great as usual and we even ran into some Waldschmidt supporters!
We ended the evening at North Fondy Fest, where we listened to Boogie and the Yoyoz and watched the FANTASTIC fireworks!!

Huge Thank You to our "Parade Crew" of over 50 supporters who helped us hand out candy and literature in the Campbellsport parade. It was great seeing the kids having fun helping out. We even had our own "Uncle Sam". The 95+ degree temperatures didn't stop people from coming out, we handed out well over 2,000 pieces of candy!!
It felt amazing to see so many supporters in the crowd, signs along the parade route, crowds breaking out into applause as we approached and even another float that was sporting Waldschmidt for Sheriff signs!
Continue to spread the word about this important election. The momentum continues to build as we near August 14th!

Another great turn out from my supporters to help distribute freezy pops, candy, and literature. The nail files and chapstick were a hit too!
Thank you also to TTI who displayed a big 4x8 sign on their truck which was also in the parade.
It was a great parade and enjoyed speaking with residents at the picnic and supporting the Eldorado Fire Department and Lions Club. We also enjoyed a fabulous chicken dinner for lunch.

What a great day for a parade! The clouds and rain cleared just in time and over 40 supporters walked with us in the Mt. Calvary parade to help spread the word about our campaign.
We were honored to have Sheriff Mick Fink and retired Sheriff Gary Pucker ride together in Mick’s golf cart to show their support.
Thank you both, and thank you to everyone who walked with us!
Then, to top the day off, a large group of supporters volunteered to go door to door in St. Peter for several hours to hand out literature and continue to share information about this important race.
